Get set up in 4 steps

Create Account

To start using MXGate, you need to create an account first. You can register via the Dashboard and start a 14-day free trial.

Add Domain

After logging in, add the domain you want to protect. The system will automatically generate the required DNS settings.

DNS Configuration

Point your MX records to MXGate servers. This step ensures incoming emails are filtered through MXGate.

Verification & Activation

Wait for DNS changes to propagate (1-24 hours). You can check the domain status from the panel.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take for DNS changes to take effect?

DNS changes typically propagate worldwide within 1-24 hours. This time may vary depending on TTL values. You can use the dig mx domain.com command to check your MX records.

Will my existing emails be lost?

No, MXGate works only as a gateway. Your emails are still delivered to your existing server, only a filtering and protection layer is added. Your existing mailboxes are not affected.

Which ports are used?

The relay service is provided over port 587 (TLS). All outbound connections are made encrypted.

What should the SPF record be?

Use this to add MXGate to your SPF record: v=spf1 include:_spf.mxgate.com.tr ~all

How do I recover mistakenly blocked emails?

You can view, release, or whitelist blocked emails from the Quarantine section in the MXGate panel. Quarantine period is 14 days.

Is smarthost configuration difficult in cPanel?

If you have WHM root access, you can easily configure by following the step-by-step guide above. Our technical team provides free support if you need assistance.
